DAYTON, Ohio – Montgomery County Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) has added COVID-19 resources to the GetHelpNow App to provide the community with crisis support, healthcare and testing updates, and more during the coronavirus pandemic.

Helen Jones-Kelley, the Executive Director of ADAMHS, is very excited about the enhancement to the App, stating, “this is a simple way for so many people to have access to support services during this critical time. The GetHelpNow App places these services right at the fingertips of everyone in the community!”

The GetHelpNow app was originally created in the fall of 2018 as a tool for individuals needing resources surrounding behavioral health treatment and support, employment, and housing. ADAMHS quickly reacted to the needs of the community after the Oregon District shooting on August 4, 2019 and added DaytonHeals.org to the App as an additional resource to the to assist in healing.

The GetHelpNow App is available on Google Play and the Apple Store for download.
