UPDATE: Walk past the Biltmore Towers at Main & First this Friday during Urban Nights, and you’ll see an art installation inspired by Historic South Park and other great Dayton neighborhoods.  Artie Toth and his team have created art for the “Spotlight Dayton” theme by shining a light on downtown’s neighborhoods and historic communities. As you walk east from the corner of Main & First, five window panes will be the last on your left before you reach Biltmore’s garage

UPDATE: The DCS Activated Spaces design project featuring images from Historic South Park is working towards its debut on Urban Nights, Sept. 16th. Go Artie and DCS!!! We are SO proud to represent Dayton! See below:

Mike McMillon of Dayton Creative Syndicate tells us that DCS is again participating in the Activated Spaces Project in Dayton, where artists are allowed to create displays for the windows of vacant downtown storefronts.

This time, the theme is “Spotlight Dayton” and what better neighborhood to draw inspiration from than Historic South Park? Artie Toth is seeking people who have ideas to share about what aspects of South Park we should feature, as well as creatives with design skills to help with the layout. If you’d like to help with this project to make downtown Dayton more vibrant, send a message to Artie at [email protected].

Thanks from all of us to Dayton Creative Syndicate!
