This is really getting us excited! Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley plans to build its $10 million headquarters just west of South Park on Main Street, south The Brunch Club (a nice walk from Historic South Park on a sunny Sunday morning, by the way).
We can count it as another of the many positive changes coming to our part of town, pushing the momentum along for the revitalization that’s been occuring to Historic South Park itself and its neighbors. The Miami Valley Hospital campus continues to improve, the University of Dayton has construction crews going, and now a Goodwill facility will further reduce blight and boost the southern gateway to downtown. This works alongside the City of Dayton’s plans for the improvement of the Main and Warren Street corridor so that it can be an attractive southern gateway to downtown.
