A group called Up Dayton has been looking into various possibilities for overhauling the bridge, and, as a start, volunteers from South Park and Oregon will be picking up trash, pulling weeds and collecting any debris to make the bridge more attractive.
This is just a start – possibilities for the bridge, including possibly painting, are being investigated. Oregon will be providing bottled water and there will be trashbags provided as well.
Let’s show our neighbors in the Oregon District that we care about the bridge!
