Preservation Dayton, Inc. will hold its second Urban Living Expo in Wright-Dunbar Village on Sunday, September 27, 2015, 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Explore the joys of living in one of Dayton’s vibrant historic neighborhoods. The inaugural Urban Living Expo held in April featured the Huffman Historic District with sessions on historic preservation tax credits, urban gardening, historic fences, and a social hour at the coop-owned Fifth Street Brewpub.
Concurrent interactive sessions of the September event cover:
REAP, Dayton’s “Real Estate Acquisition Program,” what it is and how it works, as well as examples of how this program has transformed vacant properties into viable productive homes.
Renovating Historic Windows: Yes, old windows can be made both attractive and energy efficient.
Propolis Project: Learn about the bee re-population planned for National Park property in Wright-Dunbar and at Huffman Prairie.

Meet residents and neighbors on a self-guided tour of the Wright-Dunbar neighborhood, surrounding Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park.
