Historic South Park counts itself lucky to have so many wonderful volunteers among its residents. And to find itself in a City where the level of service is high–even the local schools nuture a culture of community involvement. And those neighbors who step forward to take a leadership role (which often comes with extra challenges) cannot be commended and thanked enough.
The City of Dayton has chosen to profile South Park volunteer, Theresa Gasper in one of its video series, “Dayton Originals.” A neighborhood developer and multi-generation South Parker, Theresa is like the neighborhood she comes from–friendly, genuine and unassuming, and always pleasantly surprising.
