South Parkers are happy to see that “South Park Soliloquy,” a 30-minute video produced by The Next Wave in 1997 has returned to YouTube. It was groundbreaking at the time, with its honest story of a neighborhood working to renew itself, the people who persevered and made lifelong friends. Not to mention the wonderful soundtrack by Buckwheat Zydeco, music that is still refreshing and new. Neighbors talk about what it’s like to live in a neighborhood where people know one another and work together. We’re delighted to look back and reminisce, and see the progress made since then!
