Read the six-page feature article in Community, the magazine of Wright State University, and be inspired by two WSU alumni, Michael Di Flora and Theresa Gasper.

Between the two of them Michael and Theresa have bought and restored over 30 South Park homes. Michael has reclaimed well-built older structures from predatory lending and absent landlords to make them once again livable and affordable. Theresa–a fourth generation South Parker–continues to realize her dream of renewing her neighborhood by preserving history while modernizing historic homes.

Their work has led not only to a successful Rehabarama, it enabled South Park to be voted a 2008 Neighborhood of the Year for Physical Rehabilitation by Neighborhoods, USA. To read more about their devotion to the community, click through: Winter 2009 issue of Community here. (4.1 MB PDF).
